Boudoir Privacy: What We Share, What We Never Share, and Your Options

If privacy is the thing holding you back from a boudoir photoshoot, I want you to hear this clearly: you’re not “being dramatic.” You’re being smart.

Here’s exactly how privacy works at Revealed Studios:

Privacy is key. We never share boudoir photos without permission

Not “implied permission.” Not “it was in the fine print.” Explicit permission.

You have options for keeping your boudoir photos private:

Every client receives a questionnaire from us in their private portal. This helps us prepare, but also gives you the chance to answer on your own time, however it feels right for you. No pressure, no. surprises.

You choose what you’re ok with when it comes to your boudoir photos and privacy:

  • Keep everything under lock and key
  • Anonymous images (no face, no identifying features)
  • Share select images only
  • Share nothing now, decide later

Most clients opt not to share their photos or choose the “wait to see” option. We’re never offended and always understand! Boudoir privacy is a personal choice that we honor. You can even see the questionnaire clients receive below:

Your name is never attached to your boudoir photos

If you do allow marketing use, we never publish your name alongside images. No first names, no last names, no tags. We never want any client to be searchable without their consent. We understand you’re not a professional model and might not want your imagery out there for someone to stumble across. We often work with teachers, nurses, therapists, and professionals in general who want seperate between their work and private life, which we fully support.

What about the studio experience?

We keep sessions private and paced. You won’t be rushed or rotated through like a factory line. Sessions are up to three hours, allowing plenty of time to warm up and feel comfortable.

We start every session by going over your outfits. If you’ve answered on your questionnaire that you’d like to do nude or implied nude, we’ll talk through that in person to make sure we’re on the same page for what you’d like to capture and how that will unfold.

Most often, we transition from one outfit into a scene for fine art nude photos in a way that feels cinematic. Like a woman undressing in a movie. The photographer will demonstrate the flow of poses and communicate where she’ll be and what she’ll be capturing to make sure you feel good.

After the photoshoot, you’ll be able to review all your photos in a password-protected gallery where you can take your time deciding which images, if any, you’d feel ok sharing.
